Scientific “Adam & Eve” through our ancestors… please meet Mitochondrial Eve and Y-Chromosomal Adam from around 150,000 years ago and scientists DO quantify the age of Mitochondrial Eve using a well-established method known as the molecular clock. The process relies on the unique inheritance pattern and mutation rate of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) here is how the age is quantified, and the general timeframe that science suggests:
1. The Core Method: The Molecular Clock
The age of Mitochondrial Eve (mt-MRCA) is calculated using a formula similar to: Time = Number of Genetic Differences over Mutation Rate.
Here’s what that involves to comparing the mtDNA: Scientists collect and compare the mitochondrial DNA sequences from people all over the planet. By comparing the likenesses and differences between these genetic profiles, they construct a phylogenetic tree (a family tree).
Finding the Consensus: By tracing all the branches of this tree backward, they can pinpoint a theoretical consensus sequence—the mtDNA sequence that would have belonged to the single ancestor from whom all current mtDNA diverges.
Counting the Differences: They count the number of genetic differences (mutations) between the mtDNA of modern humans and this calculated consensus sequence for Eve. The average number of differences reflects how long the various lines have been diverging.
2. The Critical Factor: Calibrating the Mutation Rate… the most debated and crucial part of the calculation is determining the mutation rate—how fast mtDNA accumulates changes over time. Phylogenetic Calibration (Evolutionary Rate): Most evolutionary models calibrate the molecular clock using known divergence points in the fossil record, such as the estimated time when humans and chimpanzees last shared a common ancestor (e.g., around 6 million years ago). This method yields a slower rate and is the primary basis for the widely accepted deep-time estimate. Direct/Pedigree Calibration (Observed Rate): Some studies have attempted to use direct observation of mutation accumulation in families (pedigree studies) over a few generations. This method typically yields a much faster rate, which would place Mitochondrial Eve’s age far more recently (around 6,000–12,000 years ago). However, this rate is often considered inflated when applied over deep time due to factors like purifying selection.
3. The Widely Accepted Age Estimate
Using the slower, phylogenetically calibrated mutation rate, the widely accepted scientific consensus places the age of Mitochondrial Eve at: 100,000 to 200,000 years ago.
This timeframe is consistent with the “Out of Africa” theory, which suggests that anatomically modern humans (Homo sapiens) originated in Africa during this period. Recent studies often converge the estimated ages of Mitochondrial Eve and Y-Chromosomal Adam around 150,000 years ago.
Its going to shown through our ancestors before us that the interconnectedness of the soul and a divine connection to source (that protects it) with the universal Alpha to the Omega of time itself being conscious as it ticks and steps foward and… the lineage of the atomic structure itself… with NO “mysterious force of energy” lol 🤣 as energy just doesnt come from nowhere or… maybe it does… and if so… than that should be seen as miracle blessing from the universe and its source energy for scientists and athiests but it won’t… how hard is it to understand what faith is and means…
And also I am right as that is a fundamental truth of chemistry and biology that
DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid), which carries the genetic instructions for all known living organisms, and IS constructed entirely from atoms and in that would be universal information…
From Atoms to Life
The incredible complexity of life arises from the way these simple atoms are arranged:
Atomic Bonds: The atoms are linked together by covalent bonds to form the nucleotides.
The Double Helix: Millions of these nucleotides link together to form two long strands, which twist around each other into the famous double helix structure.
Information Storage: The specific sequence of the bases (A, T, C, G) along this atomic structure is what constitutes the genetic code… ie… the blueprint for building and operating a living organism. So, while atoms are the basic building blocks, the molecular structure of DNA is what gives it its unique function as the carrier of the biological information. Cheers ✌️
May God’s grace be with you and may the love of that fill your life with beautiful blessings… and as such may your heart be light and your soul be blessed with abundance on your journey! Everybody love everybody… 🙏😇
